1. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account. You may not create accounts by automated means or on behalf of someone else without their authorization.
You must be at least 13 years old to create or use a SideTrack account. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Subscriptions and Billing
SideTrack offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and automatically renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Refunds are not provided for partial months of service. If you believe you have been billed incorrectly, contact [support@sidetracking.app](mailto:support@sidetracking.app).
SideTrack may change plan pricing or features with notice. Price changes take effect at the start of the next billing period for existing subscribers.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. SideTrack does not store full payment card details.
4. Your Data
You own all business, job, client, and financial data you enter into SideTrack. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your data and for ensuring you have the right to store and process it using SideTrack.
SideTrack does not sell your personal data. We use your data only to provide and improve the service as described in our [Privacy Policy](/privacy).
SideTrack provides tools to export and delete your data. Account deletion requests are processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
SideTrack's features, including profit estimates, job tracking, and business summaries, are for informational and organizational purposes only. They do not constitute financial, legal, accounting, or tax advice. You should consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your situation.
5. Disclaimers
SideTrack is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that data will not be lost or corrupted. We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on data, reports, or insights generated by SideTrack.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
6. Termination and Suspension
You may stop using SideTrack at any time and cancel your account by contacting support. SideTrack may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, if required by law, or if your account is inactive for an extended period.
Upon termination, your right to access the service stops immediately. We will retain your data as described in our Privacy Policy, subject to legal and operational requirements.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SideTrack and its providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted with a new effective date. If changes are material, we will provide notice in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
